May 5th and 6th 2012 Dear friends,

After the successfull edition of last years Open Belgian Championship the Belgiun Pencak Silat Federation, has the honour to invite you to participate in the

17th Open Belgian Pencak Silat Championship.

This year it will be a special edition because Pencak Silat Belgium exists this year 30 years!!

The Open Belgian Championship will take place in 2900 Schoten, Vordensteynstraat 76.

The confirmation of your participation will be send to us before January 1st 2012 and the list of participants and Wasit and Jury will be send to us before April 15th 2012.
These lists can send only by e-mail, fax or registerd letter.
The confirmation can only be done by a recognised Federation, school or club by Persilat.
The date-limit has to be respected.

The competition will be held at the following address:
sportcentre:
Sporthal Vordensteyn
Vordensteynstraat 25
2900 Schoten

Rules and regulations:

1. All countries have to be a member of PERSILAT.

2. For the adult competitions the participants have to be 17 years old in the year that the competition will be held.

3. The PERSILAT rules will be followed.

4. Should there arise any unsettled decision or problem which is not set in the Persilat rules and regulations, then has the organizing committee the right to finalize the decision.

 
The Weighing:
1. The participant have to wear a black silat suit.
2. When the participants weight is not correct, he will get one hour to make it correct.  When the weight is not correct after this hour, he can change his weightclass but he have to pay the admissionfee double.
3. There will be a re-weighing 15 minutes before every competition.  If the participants weight is not correct, he will be disqualified.
 

 Drawing:

There will only be one person, not more, from every school or land presented on the drawing. Included there will be a form where you can fill in this persons name. When the drawing starts, all the schools who did yet get to the weighing will be included. The schools who are not there yet can not come in anymore at the drawing. The can check later on the lists that we will hang out.

 

The uniform during the competition:

1. The participant have to wear a black silat uniform and a body protector.  They also have to wear a ball guard.

2. Joint protection can only be one layer.  It has to be in the manner of function and allowed by Technical Official.

 

Competitionrules:

1. The participant have to be present 15 minutes before his competition.  They will be called 3 times.  If they not come they will be disqualified and

the opponent will win.

2. The competition will be 3 rounds of 2 minutes and the break will be 50 seconds.

3. The rules of PERSILAT will be followed.

 
Protest:
 1. Every country can make protest.  The protest will be made only by the teammanager.  It has to be in writing and together with the protestmoney of 200 euro.
2. The protest has to be made in 10 minutes after the announcement of the result and have to be brought to the Chairman.
3. The protest has to be made by the rules of PERSILAT.
4. All the result by Judge Council about the protest is final.

Depending on the number of competitors it is possible that certain weight Classes will be put together.

 

The 2000 rules will be followed during the competition. Any changes will be told during the technical meeting.

 

Inscription: 

1. The enrolment fee for tanding competition is 25 euro for one competitor and 25 euro for one coach.

2. Admission fee for spectators:The admission fee will be 5 euro per day. To be paid at the entrance.

3. The meals are 12,50 € a meal. Lunch and dinner on saturday an lunch on sunday. they have to be ordered before 20th of april 2012.

Protocol etiquette and discipline:

1. The etiquette and discipline for attire are as follow.

For the Opening and closing ceremony and the price presentation you have to wear a Team official tracksuit or the standard silat attire.
For the medical check up, weighing and competition you have to wear the standard silat attire.

2. The discipline of ceremonies and competition are as follow.

The participants must come to every ceremony and event on time according the schedule.
They must perform good personal appearance with a good attitude and spirit of sportsmanship. Because there will be taken action towards athletes or supporters with a bad attitude problem.

 
Narcotics and General matters:
 It is strictly prohibited to bring, consume or to distribute all kinds of drugs.

Every country have to bring one flag.

There will be no second fights for the third place.

We are not responsible for theft and injuries.
If you need to go to the hospital you give your own information so the hospital later can arrange everything with you.
People who give our address to pay the bill can not participate in the next Open Belgian championship until they pay themselves.

8h-10h Arrival of the participants. Medical check, weighing and registration.

10h Drawing and after technical meeting.

11h-… Opening ceremony followed by tanding competitions.

 

Sunday 6 may 2012

9h Finales followed by price presentation and closing ceremony.
 

Just before the competition will be held you all will receive a more detailed time schedule made on the number inscriptions.
